Employees to Receive Skills Development Training at Tarrant County College
North Texas Specialty Physicians (NTSP) received a $248,757 grant from the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) that will enable NTSP to offer specialized training for 215 employees at Tarrant County College (TCC). TWC Commissioner Julian Alvarez presented a check to representatives from NTSP and TCC , during a ceremony on January 20th in Fort Worth.
The grant will enable employees to develop new skills and enhance existing skills, with an emphasis on customer service training, data administration, sales, and leadership. The educational courses will be offered through the grant to employees.
“This grant will enable us to supplement our ongoing efforts to support employee development,” said Debbie Schreier, director of human resources for NTSP. “We want to enhance employee skills so they are equipped to advance within NTSP and to excel in their essential daily roles.”
