Jamie K. Alexander, M.D.
Dr. Alexander joined Cornea Associates of Texas after completing her fellowship training in Cornea, External Disease, and Refractive Surgery at the Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Institute at the University of Colorado Denver. She is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Alexander grew up primarily in Corpus Christi, Texas. She attended the University of Southern California, where she received her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences and she earned her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Subsequently, she received her ophthalmology training from the prestigious Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA. Dr. Alexander specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of the cornea and anterior segment including LASIK, cataract surgery, cornea transplants, DSAEK, DMEK and other corneal procedures.
Dr. Alexander is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Cornea Society, Dallas Academy of Ophthalmology, Texas Medical Association, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
In her free time, Dr. Alexander enjoys camping, hiking, listening to live music and taking her dog on adventures with her fiancé. She also speaks Spanish.
