Fredric Johnson, M.D.
Dr. Johnson is one of four NTSP physicians who recently received awards from NTSP for achieving 5-STARS in 2014. This significant achievement reflects how well a physician manages the health needs of his or her patients.
He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 1984; he also holds a Bachelor of Science degree, earned with honors (Magna Cum Laude), from Texas A&M. His residency was at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Board certified in Family Medicine from the American Board of Family Medicine, he is affiliated with the Baylor All Saints Medical Center and Texas Health Harris Methodist Southwest Fort Worth, and other hospitals.
The variety of patient encounters across all age groups, and the wide breadth of disease states, has helped Dr. Johnson maintain a passion for family medicine since 1987, when he entered private practice. Each patient he sees at his Fort Worth clinic is unique and he treats each as an individual. He believes laughter is good medicine and brings a sense of humor and positive attitude to his work and patients.
Dr. Johnson likes to point out (frequently) how well he raised his two daughters. Both are also graduates of Texas A&M, as is his wife of 34 years, Rhonda. He enjoys travel with his family and outdoor sports and activities such as boating, fishing and hunting.
